About Course

Diploma in Health Inspector is a paramedical diploma which can be pursued after passing Class 10th or 12th. The duration of the diploma can be 3 years Plus 6 months internship for S.S.L.C / X std students or 2 years Plus 6 months internship for II PUC (science / PCMB) / XII students, depending upon the candidate qualification. Candidates have to complete the study for respective years, to attain completion certificate for the course.

Paramedical professionals hold an important place in the healthcare sector. Although the real decision making lies in the hands of doctors and surgeons, paramedical professionals make sure that the guidelines suggested by doctors are implemented in a proper manner.

  • The completed person can get appointed as Junior Health Worker in PHC, CHC and District Hospitals.
  • They can also appointed as Health Adviser in various medical colleges and hospitals.
  • They can also appointed as Health Worker in Corporation.
  • They can also appointed as Health Sanitary and Hygiene Inspector in various food industries.
  • They can also appointed as Sales Marketing Officer for many Medical and Diagnostic Equipments, Re agents, Medicines, and etc.
  • Still more than 5000 Junior Health Worker jobs are vacant in PHC, CHC and District Hospitals of Govt. of Karnataka.

Higher Education

After completion of the course they can go for higher education regular as well as in distance education like B Sc in MLT, Cardiology, Anesthesiology, Perfusion Technology, Cathlab, CBZ, Chemistry & etc. and further they can also go for Food Inspector Job Exams.

Eligibility

Pass in S.S.L.C / X std or Equivalent Examination or II PUC / XII Std Under Science such as PCB, PCMB, CBZ or any other equivalent qualifications.

DHI 2nd YEAR

  • Paper-I : ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY, COMMUNITY HEALTH, HEALTH & DISEASES, & BEHAVIORS SCIENCES

  • Paper-II : HEALTH EDUCATION AND COMMUNICATION, ESSENTIAL DRUGS AND TRATEMENT OF MINOR DISEASES, LEGAL MEDICINE.
  • Paper-III : COMMUNICABLE AND NON COMMUNICABLE DISEASES, MCH, RCH PROGRAMMES.
